Joe joined MGCC in July, 2020.  He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and was elected to PGA Membership in 2006.  Joe’s first job as a Golf Professional was at Waterway Hills GC in North Myrtle Beach from 2000- 2002. He then spent 13 years at Montclair Golf Club.  Following the purchase of Rock Spring Club by Montclair GC, Joe was promoted to Head Golf Professional at Rock Spring from 2016 – 2018. Following the sale of the Rock Spring property, Joe became the First Assistant at Essex Fells CC in 2019.

Joe has served on numerous committees for the NJPGA and was the Assistants Chairman in 2010. Also, in 2010, Joe was awarded Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. Joe’s playing highlights include qualifying and playing in the 2014 National Assistants Championship in Port St. Lucie, Fl. In 2018, he qualified and played in the National PGA Club Professional Championship in Monterey, Ca. In 2018, Joe and his team of juniors won the NJPGA Pro/Junior Championship.

Joe is married to Melody (from north central Ohio) and they have 3 girls, Shea (big Mets fan), Leah and Kiley. Joe and his family reside in Verona, NJ. In his spare time, Joe enjoys coaching his daughter’s basketball teams and traveling in the off season. Joe is also an incredible dancer!
